I think you’re right. Under the dome though... It was a great read, if only for it’s amazing scope, but I couldn’t even make it through two episodes of the TV show. I couldn’t wait for ‘Chef’ Bushey to blow that hell hole to kingdom come, and I wanted ‘Big Jim’ to be dead after the first couple of chapters. I just couldn’t stand his utterly hateable, piece-of-shit ass. HE SOLD FUCKING H3’S for Chrissakes!

Well I read it in middle school so maybe that’s why I enjoyed it and now I am seeing it through nostalgia filter.
